This could be an April fool's prank, but according to a Reddit user, his razer kraken headset saved him by deflecting the stray bullet.
The alleged incident happened in Torrance, California. Reddit user Enough_Dance_956 said while inside their home together with his friends early in the morning, a stray bullet flew into the room.
The bullet first pierced through the gamer's bedroom window and glanced off his headset, then it ricocheted off a wall.
No one was hurt in the incident but the redditor reported a lingering headache.
Enough_Dance_956 wrote in a Reddit post:
"hello to everyone who sees this. i’m trying to get a hold of someone at razer to thank them with all my heart. wednesday morning at 10:30am a stray bullet went through my window and hit the razer headphones on top of my head. if it wasn’t for the headphones made with good quality i would’ve been a dead kid at the age of 18. i couldn’t even imagine all the pain my family and friends would’ve been through."
"It came from a block away. It was a stray bullet. Someone with bad aim almost killed me while I was just talking to my friends."
They discovered the bullet on their bed and they turned it over to the police after being called to the house.
